I wanted to create something epic. A story (I came with) about people, who are looking for Forest Nymphs and they going through epic enviroments like rocks, forest, canyon, mountains etc. Hope I`ll do them more, coz I have already lot of sketches done.<br />
I tried to do something a bit different in design-vise(epic look) of the enviroment, not only volcanic or so, but something interesting in a shape-design and history.Hope you like it!<br />

here is finished matte painting I've been working on.<br />
Because I've been in Arctica (North pole)  I took a hundreds of good pictures. I used Photoshop, my photo references and 3ds max for some small objects. Now is time to move for Babylon city, which I already started. Modeling a Babylon tower and the city in 3ds max.<br />

I've done another personal work which I called Bat vallley, because of alot of huge rocks with caverns. I am thinking to do an animation. I used 3ds max, but only for basic meshes and shapes of mountains and etc. But I used mostly Photoshop. Painter only for some geometry in this scene. Here are two images. I used 3ds max for the basic mesh of the enviroments and for the render images with textures and for the modeling I used one reference also for the texture, Zbrush for the details and final 3D objects and Photoshop for the over painting and for the painting some details, colour correction, lights correction and for the final matte. <img src="http://forums.cgsociety.org/images/smilies/wink.gif" border="0" alt="" title="" class="inlineimg" /> I hope, that you like it. 	<title>Silent Cementery</title>

Now I can upload it. Thanx to the Blue Arts Ent. company. This matte is without posproduction/effects. It is the final matte and with fog, dynamic lights/shadows is really cool  later I send the link-after the movie will be 100% finished. <br />
I know it is a very similar as dylan cole work, but my client was want same colour-palette and style of cementery. So I did a sketch and after approval I did this matte.<br />

This project is about the Soviet Power.<br />
Soviet &quot;king&quot; Lenin wants to occup all continents in the world and create Soviet Union. Everything for everybody...etc.<br />
